IOSH Working Safely in Lincoln
The IOSH Working Safely is a one-day course for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility who are non-health and safety experts.
It is designed to ensure that all personnel have a basic understanding of safe and healthy working practices and are able to comply with both statutory requirements and those of their employer in accordance with the company Health and Safety policy.
It provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety and is designed to improve the safety culture within an organisation. Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’ and this course offers exactly that. Working Safely introduces a completely new approach to health and safety training and offers all the basics in a high impact interactive course.
IOSH Directing Safely in Lincoln
Directing safely is designed to support directors in leading the health and safety agenda in private, public and third sector organisations. The course reflects the principles set out in the Institute of Directors/Health and Safety Executive guidance, ‘Leading health and safety at work’.
The Directing safely course aims to give directors and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (those with less than 250 employees) an understanding of the moral, legal and business case for proactive health and safety management, and to give guidance on effective risk management.
The Directing safely course is for people with strategic responsibility for determining effective health and safety management and putting it into practice in their organisation.
